Harry Middlebrooks

Harry is the Owner and Proprietor of The Cages, one of the most complete baseball training facilities in Maryland.  His son’s passion for baseball, as well as his own, motivated Harry to make The Cages the sought after destination it has become.  He spends the majority of his time renovating and expanding The Cages and adding new and exciting ways to complete your baseball training.  Harry is also the hitting coach for the Hickory Hornets, an elite travel baseball team located in Harford County, Maryland.

Joe Gaeta

Joe is currently the Travel Baseball Director at White Marsh Baseball, which is now the single largest program in the State of Maryland. He also serves on the Board of the BCML (Baltimore County Major Leagues) and is one of the age group coordinators in the C.R.A.B. League, which  continues to be the most competitive baseball league in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Joe Head Coaches the 11U White Marsh Warriors as well as the SWING XP 12U Fall Team. He is also the assistant coach of the Concordia Prep High School Varsity Baseball Team.

Brooks Kerr

Coach Kerr, a 1987 Calvert Hall graduate, played varsity baseball as well as basketball and football during his years at Calvert Hall. After graduating from The Hall, Coach Kerr attended Frostburg State University and was a 4-four year baseball Letterman and captain his senior year. He is among Frostburg State’s leaders in on-base-percentage, stolen bases and fielding percentage. Coach Kerr joined the Calvert Hall coaching staff in 1992 as the first Freshmen Baseball team Head Coach. He then became the Head Coach on the Junior Varsity in 1993 and won 5 MIAA championships from 1993 to 2000. Coach Kerr became the assistant varsity coach in 2002 and currently is a Guidance Counselor at The Hall.

Jason Pruitt

Jason played  2 years Coastal Carolina and 2 years UMBC. He is the 4th All-time leading hitter at UMBC with .387 career average and was first team Big South his Senior year. Jason Played 1 year of minor league ball out of college in Amarillo, Texas and also played locally on some of best Semi-pro teams up until age 30. Jason is currently the assistant coach of the White Marsh Warriors 9U Travel team. He will be the head coach of the 9U SWING XP Fall Team.

Bob Friedel

Bob has coached recreation, recreation travel, club, elite, and high school teams. Seventeen of his former players have signed minor and MLB contracts. He was a L/H pitcher and played for travel, club, and American Legion teams and was also was scouted by the Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Reds and the Philadelphia Phillies. Bob pitched for the Phillies in the short “A” rookie league . Bob has been coaching and training baseball players for 40 years in all aspects of the game. Bob is a member of the National Pitching Association founded by Tom House[former MLB pitcher] and also a member of the MSABC [Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches]. He will be the assistant coach of the 10u SWING XP Fall Team.

Tom Miller

Tom has been coaching and training baseball players for 25+ years. Tom is known around the Mid-Atlantic as one of the most prolific hitting instructors in the area. He has had more then 11 players that he and trained or coached make it to the professional level. Tom has also played at a high level himself playing minor league baseball in Florida for the Fort Lauderdale Yankees and winter ball in the Independent League. He also is the Executive Vice President of the Baltimore Baseball Academy. He will be the Head Coach of the 10U SWING XP Fall Team.

Andrew Sacks

Andrew graduated in 2009 from Frostburg State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology. He is also a certified trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). While at Frostburg, Andrew played on two conference championship teams) 2006, 2007) as a catcher. A Bel Air native, Andrew played high school baseball for John Carroll where he earned all-conference and all-county honors. Andrew has been training a wide range of youth, high school, college, and professional athletes since 2007. Andrew has also worked at Union Memorial Sports Medicine in Bel Air, assisting with injury rehabilitation. Andrew has coached youth baseball players in multiple clinics and camps. He is available for one-on-one and group training, in addition to hitting, catching, and fielding lessons, and velocity development. Andrew will head coach the 13U Swing XP Team.

Justin Ittner

Justin is currently an assistant coach for the Arena Starz 11U team. He was a 3-year starter for Eastern Tech while gaining accolades as all county 3 times and all metro once.  He attended Stetson University and was a 2-year starter at 2nd base piling up a .306 average, then attended CCBC where he was a 1-year starter. Justin will coach one of the 12U SWING XP Teams.
