FAQ’s

What is the cost to be on a team?

Answer: The uniform cost will be $110. This includes a cap, shirt and pants. Additional uniform options will become available as our program grows.  Insurance is $20 per player.  In addition, there will be a fee based on the price charged the team to participate in the tournament. Please contact your individual coach for the specific tournament fee.

Does my child have to play in every tournament?

Answer: This will be determined by how many players are carried by each team. Upon making the team, the coach will ask the commitment level of each player. This will help us decide which players we choose. The trip to Orlando over the Christmas Break is a huge commitment, but also our biggest tournament of the season.

Will my child be guaranteed playing time?

Answer: There is no guaranteed playing time in tournament baseball. We do plan to play all players in every game, but we will put the best 9 players on the field for each game with the intention of playing our subs during every game.

Will playing with Team Swing XP affect my child’s time with their spring and summer team?

Answer: No. We will play only in the fall. If your child plays fall ball, their other team’s games will have to be missed if we are in a tournament.

Where will tryouts be?

Answer: Each team will have it’s own tryout. Please check the tryout page for more specifics on your son’s age group.
